Summer Drink Recipes
FEATURING ISLAND MIST WILDBERRY SHIRAZ
- 1 bottle of Island Mist Wildberry Shiraz
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 1/2 cup raspberry flavoured vodka
- 1 cup of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
FEATURING ISLAND MIST BLACKCURRENT CABERNET Cabernet’s natural rich black fruit character enhanced by the zing of fresh ripe blackberries. A great, complement to barbecue.
- 1 bottle of Island Mist Blackberry Cabernet
- 1 cup lemon flavoured Vodka
- Juice of one lemon and one lime
- 1 cup soda water
- 1/2 cup blackberries
Pour all ingredients into a large pitcher with ice. Pour into tumblers and garnish with floating blackberries and thinly sliced lemons and limes.Combine all ingredients in a pitcher, add ice, stir and serve in tumblers.

- 4 oz. Island Mist Green Apple Riesling
- 1 oz. Melon Liqueur
FEATURING ISLAND MIST KIWI-PEAR SAUVIGNON BLANC
- 2 bottles of Island Mist Kiwi-Pear Sauvignon Blanc
- 2 pears, peeled, cored, halved and cut into thin slices
- 2 pears, peeled, cored, halved and cut into thin slices
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lime juice
- 2 oz. orange liqueur
- 2 12 oz. cans of Club Soda

Combine the Island Mist Kiwi-Pear Sauvignon Blanc with the fruit, lime juice and orange liqueur and cover in the refrigerator overnight. Just before serving, gently stir in the Club Soda. Serve over ice, garnish with a lime wedge.Shake on ice and pour into chilled martini glass. 2 cups applejack brandy St. George California Reserve Apple Brandy
- Or 2 cups of your favorite Vodka

Simple syrup (for serving)

Sparkling wine or club soda (for serving; optional)

One 32-ounce jar; 3 layers of cheesecloth, or Sous Vide Cooker
RECIPE PREPARATION

Combine blueberries, lemon zest, and brandy in jar and seal tightly. Let sit in a cool dark place, shaking jar daily, until mixture is a deep purple color, about 1 month. You can also substitute your favorite Vodka instead of Brandy. If you don’t want to wait the month sous vide in a mason jar @ 135 degrees for 3 hours!

Strain mixture through cheesecloth into a pitcher or large bowl (do not press on solids or mixture will become cloudy) and add simple syrup to taste. Chill until cold, about 30 minutes. Serve cordial in small glasses.

To make a spritzer, place 1 oz. cordial in a flute and top off with sparkling wine. Refreshing for barbeques or relaxing on your deck with friends.

Do Ahead: Strained cordial mixture can be made 6 months ahead. Cover and keep chilled.
